GetSupport
Through nurturing connections, we engage with parents via groups, workshops, courses and 1-1 sessions to foster a supportive environment.
“Your Place, Your Space, Your Pace”
We support families having difficulties with wellbeing, school issues, housing, debt or cost of living challenges.
Our Term-Time Projects
Everything we do starts with listening
ESOL Women's Group
Supported by Sanctuary Housing, this is our most long-standing project. We help women of different cultures practice their English in a safe, social space.
Informal language lessons, crafts, specialised talks, and health & wellbeing workshops. A WhatsApp group keeps everyone connected year-round.
Art Café
Based in TESCO Mayflower, our Art Café provides a space for parents to relax with quality time for themselves, away from daily challenges.
A variety of art and craft materials to enjoy at your own pace. Our creative volunteers share their skills informally. Many parents develop lasting friendships here.
Conn-X
This Laindon-based project, supported by ECF, supports neurodivergent children aged 6-12 who may be socially isolated or experiencing school avoidance.
Art/craft activities, gaming, resources for hand/eye coordination, teamwork and creativity. Parents network and receive guidance from our volunteers.
TeenZone
Supported by Peabody, TeenZone in Laindon helps neurodivergent teens experiencing anxiety and social communication challenges.
Switch gaming area, pool, table tennis, art materials, and a music system. Simple cooking activities. Parents stay on site to share experiences and social time.
